Christine Rue, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Christine Rue is a native Oregonian, growing up in Corvallis, OR. She completed her undergraduate training at Oregon State University in 2009 with a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. She had originally planned on becoming a licensed social worker, planning to work with children with disabilities. However, when she was at OSU she completed an international medical internship to India, and that was when Christine realized that medicine was the perfect combination of science and social work. She returned home with a passion for pursuing a career in health care. She went on to Oregon Health and Science University to complete her Physician Assistant training in 2014.

Since graduating PA school, she has worked primarily in family practice. She spent three months in an endocrinology department as well as working in a local, small urgent care facility in Silverton, OR for several months. She strives to provide excellent, patient-centered care. “My goal is to make each patient feel heard, supported and empowered to be involved in their own healthcare. I love that medicine allows me the opportunity to be part of many different stages of people’s lives.” She loves taking care of families and understanding a patient’s holistic needs.

When Christine is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, young daughter and golden retriever. She loves to be active, primarily running and yoga. She is excited to be part of this new clinic and looks forward to becoming part of your health care team.
